Hank Deaver
Hank Deaver has over twenty years of experience as a commercial real estate lender and investor.
Hank began his professional banking career in 1977 at First National Bank of Atlanta (now Wells Fargo). In 1981, he joined Continental Bank as a commercial loan officer. From 1987-1996 , he was a member of Continental’s real estate department (now Bank of America), where he was involved in originating and syndicating commercial and residential real estate loans. He developed the department’s hotel underwriting guidelines and led efforts in the bank’s first single asset securitization. He has extensive experience working with office, apartment, retail and single family portfolios.
After Continental Bank, Hank began his second career in the executive search and recruiting field. He joined Ray & Berndtson in 1996 and then ran the Chicago/Midwest office of Highbridge Holdings from 2002-2010. In 2010, Deaver founded and became the Managing Principal of Jackson Christopher LLC, a retained executive search and human capital services firm that specializes in working in the real estate and commercial banking industries.
Hank is a graduate of Duke University, where he earned a BA in Management Science and received his MBA, with concentrations in accounting and finance, from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Hank resides in Wilmette, IL with his wife and two sons.
